Kastrup Conformity Lab

Kastrup Conformity Lab is a five-person remote consultancy registered in Copenhagen that prepares health and education technology companies for conformity assessment under the EU AI Act. The team combines two former medical device regulatory specialists with data scientists who run the bias and performance testing side of the work. A typical first engagement is a gap analysis against the Act's high-risk requirements and ISO/IEC 42001, delivered over roughly four weeks for a fixed fee, followed by a testing phase in which the team evaluates a model's performance across demographic groups, documents the methodology and results in the format a notified body expects, and recommends mitigations. Clients who want continuing support after documentation is complete can take a light retainer covering a monthly review of monitoring data and regulatory updates. The lab works entirely remotely in Danish and English, and most clients are Danish or based elsewhere in the EU. It does not act as a notified body, does not provide legal advice, and does not carry out ISO certification audits.
