Saltmarsh Conformity

Saltmarsh Conformity is a seven-person consultancy in Dublin that helps payment firms, lending platforms and digital health providers work out what the EU AI Act requires of them and then build the evidence. Its core offer is a combined gap analysis covering the Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and GDPR, delivered over four weeks with a written report that assigns each finding to a named owner and a quarter. From there clients usually commission an implementation phase, priced as a fixed project, in which Saltmarsh prepares the risk management file, data governance records, human oversight procedures and technical documentation that a high-risk system will need for conformity assessment, and coordinates with the notified body or the client's own internal assessment. Day-rate work is offered for shorter tasks such as reviewing a supplier's documentation or preparing a board paper. The team works from a shared office near the docklands and is on site with Irish clients regularly; UK and US clients are served remotely. Saltmarsh is a consultancy rather than a notified body, leaves legal questions to the client's solicitors, and turns down work where it would be assessing documentation it wrote itself.
