Wattlebrook Governance works with Australian government agencies, state health services and private hospital groups that need AI governance arrangements documented well enough to survive an audit office review. The firm has around twenty staff based in Sydney and Canberra, most with backgrounds in public-sector risk, clinical safety or procurement. Engagements are fixed-scope projects rather than time-and-materials: a gap analysis against ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI RMF, often anchored to the Commonwealth's AI assurance framework or the relevant state policy, is priced between $15,000 and $50,000 and takes five to eight weeks. Where the client proceeds to implementation, Wattlebrook drafts the policy suite, AI impact assessment procedure and register templates, then runs workshops with the client's own staff so the documents are owned internally by the time the project closes. The firm does not offer standing retainers as a published product and does not carry out certification audits. Its consultants hold baseline Australian government security clearances and can work on site in Canberra. Wattlebrook also takes work in New Zealand and Singapore, generally remotely with one or two site visits per engagement.
