Larchmont Fair Systems

Larchmont Fair Systems is a one-person fractional governance practice run from Seattle by Naomi Castellanos, who holds both the IAPP CIPP/US and AIGP and previously led trust and safety analytics at an assessment platform used by school districts. Her clients are HR technology and education technology companies with between fifty and five hundred employees that need a named person to own AI governance across product, legal and sales. She works on monthly retainers between five and fifteen thousand dollars, sized by the number of days per month, and prefers twelve-month terms so that the work covers a full cycle of policy review, annual bias audit and regulator or customer reporting. Within a retainer she drafts the AI policy set, structures the New York City Local Law 144 audit and coordinates the Colorado AI Act impact assessment, using NIST AI RMF as the common backbone and ISO/IEC 42001 clauses where a client is heading toward certification. For LL144 she performs the impact ratio calculations herself and signs the summary as the independent auditor only for clients where she has no other role; otherwise she brings in a second practitioner. She does not offer project-based gap analyses, does not provide legal advice, and works remotely with occasional travel for onboarding.
