Seagrape Certification Services is an accredited certification body headquartered in Tampa that audits management systems against ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001 and the SOC 2 trust services criteria, the latter through an affiliated CPA practice. Its ANAB accreditation covers the artificial intelligence management system scope, and it maintains a bench of auditors who hold both ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 lead auditor qualifications so that integrated audits can be run by one team. The organisation employs more than three hundred people across the Americas, with Spanish-language audit teams based in Florida and Mexico City. A certification cycle follows the standard structure: an application and quotation, a stage 1 document review, a stage 2 on-site or remote audit, and annual surveillance visits leading to recertification in year three. Lead times from application to stage 1 are currently around eight weeks. Seagrape does not offer consulting, gap analysis, policy drafting or implementation support of any kind, since doing so would compromise its impartiality, and it will decline audits where a client's consultant has an ownership link to the body. Pricing depends on the number of sites, headcount and the complexity of the AI systems in scope and is quoted only after an application is received.
