Limmatquai Assurance is a Zurich consultancy working with banks, asset managers, insurers and the fintech firms that supply them, in Switzerland and across the EU and UK. Its clients are usually already certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and want to extend that system to cover AI, so engagements are built around integrating ISO/IEC 42001 controls into the existing information security management system rather than starting a second one. A gap analysis and readiness assessment typically covers model inventories, third-party model risk, data governance and the documentation the EU AI Act requires of a deployer or provider, and runs eight to twelve weeks across several business units. Implementation follows as a fixed project or as a retainer where the firm places a consultant with the client's risk function for a set number of days each month. Around thirty-five staff work from Zurich and Geneva, with most engagements delivered as a mix of onsite and remote work in German, French or English. Limmatquai does not certify, does not give legal opinions on Swiss or EU law, and does not build models. It is used to FINMA-supervised environments and to coordinating with the client's internal audit function and external certification body during the audit cycle.
