Quillon Governance Office

Quillon Governance Office is the practice of a single fractional AI governance lead based in Bristol who takes on two or three clients at a time, each for one or two days a week over a minimum of six months. The role is designed for medtech and digital health companies with between fifty and three hundred staff that have an AI product in or near market but no one internally responsible for governance. In practice that means chairing the AI risk committee, owning the AI inventory and impact assessments, drafting the policies and procedures expected under ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act, mapping to the NIST AI RMF where a US customer requires it, and preparing the organisation for a certification audit or notified-body review. Work is remote, with quarterly in-person visits if a client wants them. The retainer covers a fixed number of days a month and is reviewed at each renewal. A short readiness assessment is available as an entry point before committing to a retainer. The practice does not carry out audits, legal advice or software testing, and does not take on projects that need a full-time hire.
