About

Negev Loom Consulting is a small Tel Aviv consultancy advising Israeli technology companies on the AI governance requirements their customers in Europe and the United States are starting to impose. The team of six comes from product security and export-compliance roles and works mostly with defence-adjacent software vendors, fintech startups and SaaS firms whose enterprise buyers now ask about the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI RMF in the same questionnaire. Engagements are short fixed-price projects: a readiness assessment or gap analysis takes three to five weeks and is priced between $5,000 and $15,000, with policy drafting usually added as a second phase. Negev Loom writes the AI policy set, risk classification procedure and technical documentation outline required for high-risk systems under the EU AI Act, and it prepares clients for conversations with EU notified bodies without acting as one. It does not provide legal advice, run certification audits or offer standing retainers. All work is delivered remotely in Hebrew or English. Founded in 2023, the firm generally takes on four or five clients at a time and schedules new projects two to three weeks ahead.
