Elbmarsch Systems Advisory

Elbmarsch Systems Advisory is a six-person practice in Hamburg that helps industrial companies put AI systems under a management structure that auditors and customers will accept. Its clients are mostly mid-sized manufacturers and their automation suppliers: machine-vision quality inspection, predictive maintenance models, planning tools that sit on top of the ERP. Work begins with a gap analysis against ISO/IEC 42001, cross-referenced to the NIST AI RMF where the client sells into North America and to the ISO 27001 controls it usually already runs. From there the team writes the AIMS documentation, sets up the risk and impact assessment routine, and coaches the internal owners until they can run it without help. Projects are fixed-price and usually between eight and twenty weeks, with a typical gap analysis falling in the five to fifteen thousand dollar band. Training is delivered as one- or two-day workshops for plant and engineering managers, in German or English. The consultants split their weeks between the Hamburg office and client plants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Elbmarsch does not audit for certification and does not build or validate models.
