Brianza Systems Advisory helps manufacturers, industrial automation suppliers and their software partners set up AI management systems that can be certified to ISO/IEC 42001 and hold up under the EU AI Act. Much of the work involves machine vision for quality inspection, predictive maintenance models and AI components embedded in machinery that already carries CE marking, so the consultants spend a lot of time aligning AI Act requirements with the existing quality system and technical file. Projects are fixed-scope: a gap analysis and readiness assessment across several plants and product lines typically runs six to ten weeks, and a full implementation, including procedures, AI impact assessments, supplier controls and internal audit, takes six to nine months with regular onsite work in Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna. Training for internal auditors and process owners is delivered as part of implementation or as separate two-day sessions in Italian. The firm has around thirty staff in Milan and does not perform third-party certification audits, though two senior consultants are qualified lead auditors and rehearse the stage 2 audit with clients. Retainers are available after a project closes but are quoted individually. Brianza also works with general software companies, but its references are mostly industrial.
