Fennelly Brannock is a Dublin commercial law firm with a technology and regulatory department that advises on the EU AI Act, GDPR and the interaction between the two. Much of the group's work is for education technology and HR software companies that sell into the EU from Ireland, often as the European entity of a US parent, and that need a single adviser for questions on risk classification, transparency duties, the use of learner or employee data for model training, and correspondence with the Data Protection Commission. The department works on monthly retainers only, with a set allocation of hours and a named solicitor who attends the client's product and risk meetings; one-off gap reviews are not offered as a product, and fees for any scoping work are agreed individually. Solicitors will travel to client offices across Ireland and to European subsidiaries when a matter calls for it. The firm does not carry out technical audits, provide ISO implementation services, or advise on regimes outside the EU, and it will refer UK-specific questions to correspondent firms in London.
