Anekanta is a UK advisory practice, founded in 2016 and based at Sci-Tech Daresbury in Cheshire, working with organisations that deploy AI in high-stakes settings — critical national infrastructure, defence and security, manufacturing, and HR and employment among them. Engagements typically start when a board needs to understand its exposure under the EU AI Act or a customer raises ISO/IEC 42001: the firm classifies AI use cases against the Act's risk categories, runs risk and impact assessments using a proprietary risk-intelligence methodology, and supports conformity assessment work for high-risk systems. Its ISO/IEC 42001 offering is certification preparation, delivered as a member of the ISOQAR associate network, rather than the audit itself. A CPD-certified training arm runs AI-literacy and governance workshops plus a boardroom programme aimed at the Article 4 requirement for AI competence among leadership.
