AIMS Ready is the ISO 42001 practice of John Macleod, a London-based sole trader whose Lead Implementer certification the site attributes to BSI. The typical trigger is an SME that needs a credible AI management system for EU AI Act preparation or customer assurance without hiring a full-time governance lead, a role the site prices at 120-150k GBP a year by comparison. Work is sold in two fixed packages published on the site: a gap analysis at 3,250 GBP with a ten-day turnaround, built around a ninety-minute discovery workshop and delivering an ISO 42001 gap report and a certification roadmap; and a full implementation at 17,500 GBP over roughly ninety days, covering an AI-risk workshop, governance framework design, control guardrails aimed at developers, staff policies with training plans and guidance, and management review and audit preparation. A fractional Head of AI Governance arrangement is also offered, and clients that already hold ISO 27001 are quoted a bespoke package that builds on it. Delivery is remote from London, with clients described as spanning the UK, the US and beyond. AIMS Ready is a consultancy, not a certification body: it prepares clients for stage 1 and stage 2 certification audits rather than performing them itself.
